You are cordially invited to visit the world's first beer fountain! 

beer fountain green gold It is a tribute to the hop-growing heritage of Spodnja Savinjska dolina and Žalec, which is the center of hop growing in our country. At the fountain, you can try six different beers from Slovenian brewers brewed from Styrian hops.

Buying and tasting beer

A visitor buys a glass mug in various locations in the city and tries 6 x 1 dcl of beer for €8.00. The glass, which is equipped with a chip, is placed under the dispenser, it detects it and the dispensing process automatically runs. At the start and end of the tasting, the tap taps are raised with an authorized person's authorization card or They let go.

Opening Time

The Zeleno zlato beer fountain is closed from 1 November 2018 to 1 April 2019.

In season, however, it is open:

April, May: Monday - Saturday 10:00-21:00, Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00,

June, July and August: Monday - Thursday: 10:00- 22:00, Friday - Saturday: 10:00 - 23:00, Sunday 10:00 - 21:00,

September: Monday - Saturday 10:00 - 21:00, Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00,

October: Monday - Thursday, Sunday: 10:00 - 20:00, Friday - Saturday: 10:00 - 21:00.
