Medobčinski muzej Kamnik

The Kamnik Intermunicipal Museum has its premises in the Renaissance Zaprice manor and offers a permanent collection (from prehistory to the end of the 18th century, about the shepherd's heritage on the Velika planina, about furniture made of bent wood, about the bourgeoisie in 19th century, Lapidarius,...) and occasional exhibitions. In front of the museum, a collection of granaries from Tuhinjska dolina is on display. The museum also includes the Miha Maleš Gallery in the old part of the city and the birthplace of Rudolf Maistra. We invite you to visit them! Winter time: November, December, January, February Tuesday to Friday: from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Summer time: from March to October Tuesday-Saturday: from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In winter and summer, the museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays! For announced groups of over 10 people by agreement also outside the opening hours.
