The Post and Telecommunications Museum is a unit of the Technical Museum of Slovenia, which has had its premises in the manor house in Polhovo Gradac since June 2008. In the museum, the renovated and supplemented collections History of the Post Office, History of Telecommunications, Telegraphers and Telegraphers, the History of the Manor in Polhovo Gradac, occasional occasional exhibitions and a Livestock Corner, which is intended for the youngest visitors, can be seen in the museum.

In the History of Post collection, the development of post office from prehistoric times to the present is shown. You can see models of mail wagons, reconstructions of postal offices, mailboxes, postmen's uniforms from different periods, letter scales and various postal means of transport

The second part of the museum takes us through the history of telecommunications, from the first electrical telegraphs, telephones, teleprinters and telephoto devices to the first automatic telephone exchange of the stepper type in the then Yugoslavia from 1927, which is still working and it can be tested in the museum. Visitors can test the operation of the Morse device, teleprinters, listen to how they made phone calls in the past over the phone, see the operation of the inductor and automatic telephone set, network cables and tools that were used by installers on network systems.

During the summer holidays, thematic workshops for preschool and school children are held in the museum. Every first Sunday of the month at 3 p.m., you can join a guided tour of the museum's collections. The schedule of events is published on the website: www.tms.si
