Opera & Balet Ljubljana

The central Slovenian musical theater can - in addition to the regular program innovations of each season - boast an extensive repertoire of opera, ballet and concert works from contemporary and classical music-theatre creativity in the parent house and on tours at home and abroad. For several years, the Slovenian National Theater of Opera and Ballet Ljubljana has been successfully cooperating with various international and domestic co-producers, with whom several high-profile projects have been staged in past seasons (Faust, Aida, In Love with Three Oranges, Don Quixote, Knez Igor, Rusalka, ...), but certainly one of the most resounding was the world premiere of Offenbach's rediscovered opera of the Rhine Nymph.
