Royal Bled

The Royal Bled golf course is the oldest and largest course in Slovenia. It was originally built for the first time in 1937, and even then many were of the opinion that it was one of the most beautiful playgrounds in Europe. With 27 holes, it became one of the most recognizable alpine resorts, which has already been recognized by many golfers in Europe. In 2014, it was ranked 49th among the top 100 golf courses in continental Europe, according to the English magazine Golf World Magazine. It is characterized by exceptional natural features and wonderful views of the highest Slovenian peaks. The 18-hole Royal Playground and the 9-hole lake playground offer many opportunities for novice players, and satisfy even the most demanding amateur and professional players. Both the royal playground with eighteen holes and the nine-hole lake playground were designed by the famous architect Donald Harradine. In the past, the Bled playground has already hosted many important amateur and professional tournaments of the European format. The Royal Bled golf course can boast of five international European championships and three challenge competitions. In addition to the two courses, the Royal Bled golf course also offers you a large training ground on natural grass, a golf academy, a shop with golf equipment, changing rooms for guests and a place to store equipment. There is also a royal club house on the playground, which, in addition to excellent cuisine and top wines, also offers 10 uniquely equipped rooms. Only 3 km from the playground is the town of Bled, where you will find much, much more.
