Soteska Vintgar

Visit the Vintgar gorge and enjoy the primal idyll at the foot of the Alps. The Vintgar gorge is a 1,600 m long and up to 250 m deep gorge on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park, 4 km northwest of the center of Bled. The path through the gorge leads over bridges and the so-called Žumr's galleries and ends with a bridge over the mighty 16 m high river waterfall Šum. Due to its natural beauty, Vintgar was ranked among the most important tourist attractions in Slovenia and the number of visitors is increasing every year.
