The Green Karst area boasts a unique natural and cultural landscape. It is characterized by vast forests and many typical karst phenomena, from intermittent lakes to sinkholes. The pristine area of the Green Karst is one of the most biotically diverse in Europe and shelters many endangered animal and plant species. Zeleni Karst promotes the development of the entire area on the foundations of sustainable development. The uniqueness of the region and its offer enables a preserved and healthy environment and respect for tradition. Residents who, with their active creation of the offer and hospitality, co-create the image of the region, also contribute significantly to the co-creation of the Green Karst offer. Zeleni Karst is therefore still today as we have known it for centuries - a safe and untouched place where we experience new experiences and germinate new ideas.
