About Us
The roots of the Karlovček farm date back to the year 1800. The name of the farm comes from the local name of the former farm Zalokar, which was so named after the area where it is located.

In the beginning, we were mainly engaged in animal husbandry and milk production on the farm, but until 1941 we also had an inn. Later, we switched to fruit growing and viticulture, and as an accompanying activity or hobby we also engage in trotting.

Today, the farm comprises 40 ha of orchards and 7 ha of vineyards, and can boast of products such as cviček PTP wine, blue Frankinja, 100% apple juice, apple cider vinegar and carrot juice. All crops are grown in accordance with the rules of controlled integrated production.

For picking apples, we use a professional picking machine from the South Tyrolean company ZUCAL, and our farm is also the general representative of the ZUCAL brand for Slovenia.

Cviček is grown in the vicinity of Šentjerne on Pleterski hrib and Drča, around Krško, on Trška gora and Vinje vrh. It is a first-class cviček that convinces even the most demanding drinker and receives excellent reviews at wine evaluations every year. The Karlovček farm is a member of the Cviček consortium and markets the top-quality domestic product under the Dobrote s Kmetija brand.

Viticulture is one of the main activities of the Karlovček farm, and we strive to produce a top-quality noble drop of various varieties. On 7 ha of vineyards on the sunny slopes of Trška gora, Vinje vrh, Pleterski hrib and Drče, we love to cultivate the best quality vines, which delight every autumn with rich harvests.

Wine Cellar
In our modernly equipped wine cellar, we produce wines of various varieties, and with effort, hard work and love, we produce a noble drop every year that delights far and wide. After the careful harvest and selection of the highest quality grapes, the process of production of a traditional wine specialty begins - cvička, blue frankincense and exclusive predicate wines, which fulfill their purpose at prestigious feasts on various occasions.

An important direction of the Karlovček farm is also fruit growing (we own and rent 40 ha of orchards) and all our crops are grown in accordance with the rules of controlled integrated production (IPS), so we can boast of delicious naturally grown delicacies that will delight all lovers of a healthy life. You can buy our produce from us all year round on the farm, and in autumn you can also buy apples on the hill near Klevevž, where our orchards are located.
