The base camp is a low-energy house with a low carbon footprint, the equipment of which we tended to use natural materials. All rooms have organized ventilation (recovery), water and the building are heated with biomass.

When they met on the other side of the world ten years ago, it was in the Andes... Among the mountains. And when, after their return, they decided to continue their journey together, they knew that it would be... among the mountains. On sunny weekends, they visited Gorenjska and visited the most beautiful places. The crosses were at the top of the list, and when they were presented with a house in the middle of the village, they grabbed it. They designed a project that - with the usual difficulties for such big ventures - they also completed. This, even unfortunately for some potential guest, is not a public house with a casino, as was said in the village, but a base camp/base camp with Glinart - a facility with a place to stay with breakfast (according to their initials, nothing else could have been created)... and with ceramic design workshops. Creator in the middle of the mountains. Connected to the mountains as much as possible. At the foot of the house Kriška gora, i.e. the Savinja Alps, just a stone's throw from Karavanka and with breathtaking views of Triglav and Julijce. As mountain guides, they can also take you to them.

When we are not drawn up the hill or we are not exploring the surroundings, we create, knead and crush clay, paint pots and containers and enjoy taking freshly baked products from the oven. Each new baking is a chapter in itself.
