Domžala dom
The home is located on a slightly lower part of the plateau, called Mala planina, which is located near an old shepherd's settlement. The home was built by the Domžale mountaineers and opened on August 9, 1953. In 1963, a large annex was built in addition to the home, which was adapted and modernized in 1988 and adapted to the needs of boarding guests. The construction of the Domžalski dom was made possible by the freight cable car, which started operating on July 15, 1951. From Žaga to Pirčeva planina (where there was an intermediate station), to the Kisovec mountain and Mala planina, it overcame 2,925 m in length 914 m height difference. The maximum slope of the cable car, which operated until 1963, was 35. In 1992 and 1993, a covered connecting corridor was built between the house and the annex, as well as new toilets. They raised the roof of the annex and thus gained space for new beds, and they also carried out several renovation work.

The home is open every day of the year. It has a classroom equipped with a slide projector and a television classroom for lectures and mountaineering training. There are 124 seats and a bar in three catering rooms; There are 52 beds available in 14 rooms. A room with 18 shared beds is also for rent, and the home also has a toilet, washroom, central heating and electricity. A Wi-Fi connection is available in the main rooms.
