EKO Kamp Koren

Camp Koren**** Barid – the only Slovenian eco camp

In an extremely beautiful location, on the wooded terraces directly above the Soča River, one of the most beautiful camps in the Soška Valley stretches on about 4,000 square meters. Camp Koren Kobarid****, which accommodates 280 guests in the camp and 36 guests in eco log cabins, is the only four-star camp in this part of the Soška Valley. Camp Koren has a long-standing tradition of eco-tourism and was the first among Slovenian camps to receive the title of Eco Marjetica, a European certificate for environmental tourism. The camp is open all year round, and it is also possible to stay in eco-houses from January 1 to December 31.

According to the assessment of the tourist guide Cool Camping Europa, Camp Koren is one of the 20 best European destinations for nature and camping lovers. As a recommended destination, you will find us in the largest European guide ADAC, as well as in the renowned British camping guide Alan Rogers, where the Koren camp was chosen as the European winner of accommodation capacities in 2010 due to its exceptional quality of accommodation in our wooden houses.

Guide Alan Rogers also awarded us in 2013, Camp Koren placed second in the Active Holiday Award category.

The Tourist Association of Slovenia declared Camp Koren the best camp in Slovenia in 2015.
