Gostilna Mesec

The family guest house Mesec is located on the western side of Vrhnika at an altitude of 620 m in the hamlet of Jerinov grič, with beautiful natural environment, clean air and beautiful viewpoints with a view of Vrhnika, Ljubljana, Logatec and the whole of Polhograjska Hills and the Kamniška Alps. The inn has a tradition started by Franc and Ivanka Mesec. In 1938, they built a house, but the hospitality industry did not give them peace, and they started pouring a good drop and serving local food, and we continue this tradition even today. Our kitchen is known for its chickens, legs, various roasts, venison, suckling pig, and in winter we have homemade kolin. Since we have a farm, we grow the most food at home, as well as vegetables. Chef Majda also prepares excellent homemade desserts such as gibanica, various wraps, potica, štruklje and various cakes. We also accept groups of up to 80 people, such as trips, weddings, various celebrations and anniversaries, for which we prepare various lunches or dinners, and you can cover everything with several types of quality open wine from renowned producers. If you wish, we can also provide you with live music.
