Hotel Kristal

Hotel Kristal is a family hotel in Bohinj, not far from Lake Bohinj, on the outskirts of the Triglav National Park. The hotel was upgraded and renovated in a homely style, so that it gives guests a sense of homeliness, typical of this place. We guarantee that you will feel good in our company, take care of a carefree vacation, your health and immensely enjoy discovering the natural beauty that surrounds us. We like to boast that in 2013 we hosted guests who come to us for exactly 20 years without a break. We are grateful to them for trusting us, and we gave them a 7-day package for 2 people. There will certainly be no shortage of such guests for all the following years. Among the many regular guests, we also hosted some celebrities:

We would like to inform all art lovers that there is a permanent exhibition on display at the hotel, as it is equipped with more than 100 works of art by renowned international painters, which were created in the hotel's painting colonies for several years in a row.

Offering - Our guests can choose from three different types of accommodation:

• Overnight with a buffet breakfast.

After lunch or dinner, you can chat, rest and have tea or coffee in the conservatory and aperitif bar by the open fireplace. You can read a book or magazine in the reading corner in the evenings or in bad weather. In the summer, you can do all this in the fresh air on the hotel's summer terrace. In the meantime, let your children play on the children's playground in the garden.

We also organize seminars in the hotel and we also prepare a conference room for 50 people to order.

If you like to regain your resistance by sweating in the saunas, a Finnish sauna is available at the hotel. But if you like to be pampered even more, you can also treat yourself to a massage.

The hotel has its own parking lot, so you won't have to worry about parking your car. If you come to Bohinj to go skiing in the winter, you will be able to store your ski equipment in the ski storage room.

Restaurant - A La Carte Restaurant

In the a la carte restaurant of Hotel Kristal, we serve dishes of local and international cuisine together with top-quality bottled wines.

From the rich offer we recommend:

• goose breast on Bohinjska skuta,
• brook trout in different ways,
• venison according to the chef's recipe,
• Homemade cheese and buckwheat štruklji,
• Solnograš spoons, ...

At your request, we also prepare diet and vegetarian meals.

Two restaurants have room for 100 people. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a terrace that can accommodate up to 80 guests during the summer.

Aktivnosti

Bohinj is an excellent starting point that offers you many opportunities for active holidays regardless of the season. In the warmer months, there are many opportunities for various water sports in Bohinj (rafting, kayaking and canoeing, canyoning, hydrospeed, ...), mountain biking, nature walks, hiking and sport climbing. For those who prefer extreme and adrenaline sports, parachuting, caving and the nearby adrenaline park are available. For animal lovers, Mrcina ranch in the village of Studor offers riding Icelandic horses in nature. If there are enough sunny days in the summer, the lake warms up and swimming is possible in it. The Bohinj Water Park in Bohinjska Bistrica is always available to visitors to Bohinj, which provides recreation and entertainment in the water despite the bad weather and low air temperatures. In addition to the lake, Bohinj also has a lot of running water, which enables fishing, which is why the place is also popular among fishermen.

In winter, skiing and snowboarding is possible in the Vogel Ski Center. For less demanding skiers, Srednja vas also has a smaller ski resort in Senožeta, while for fans of cross-country skiing there are organized cross-country trails in the Bohinj valleys. If the temperatures are low enough, the lake freezes and can also slide on it.
