KOČA PRI SAVICI

The hut stands on Kopišče in the western end of the glacial hut Ukanc. In 1951, the Ljubljana-Matica Mountaineering Association converted the former Yugoslavian border guard into a mountain outpost. Due to the proximity of the Savica waterfall, it became an important tourist post. It was renovated several times, most recently in 2021, when smaller rooms were arranged in it, the equipment and the bathroom were updated. There are 40 seats in two catering rooms, a bar; There are 40 seats at the tables in front of the cottage; There are 17 beds in the rooms and 17 beds in the common bed; WC, washroom, running water, electricity; The catering area is heated with stoves.
