Krvavec is a mountain in the Kamnik-Savinjske Alps in the municipality of Cerklje in Gorenjska. On its slopes is the winter sports center of the same name, RTC Krvavec, which is the closest ski resort to the capital of Slovenia (25 km away).
The set of ski slopes is located at an altitude of 1450 m to 1971 m, with a total size of 26 km of groomed ski slopes. On average, it allows 100 skiing days a year. For the youngest, there is a well-maintained kindergarten in the snow next to the Luža ski lift, and there are also some facilities for snowboarders in the snow.
In the summer, Krvavec offers visitors the opportunity to spend active free time. You can spend the day in the Krvavec summer park, enjoy the long descents in the Krvavec bike park, take many mountain hiking trails, and there are also themed summer trails.
