The Trbovlje Youth Center performs the following activities in particular as part of its basic activity:
collects and transmits information for young people, coordinates and implements activities for young people with an emphasis on constant priorities within the framework of the National Program for Youth and European Cooperation in the Youth Area, offers service activities (technical, organizational, professional and consulting assistance) to youth organizations, youth organizations to informal groups and young individuals, organizes and implements activities of wider importance and obtains funds for them.
In 2020, the Trbovlje Youth Center will be a development training center for the regional community, which creates conditions for better standards of young people and the progress of the entire local community, and encourages young people to be general social responsibility.

Service activity means providing adequate spatial conditions and equipment for the implementation of youth work, appropriate training of personnel to support an individual or a youth organization. The Trbovlje Youth Center offers conditions for the development of young people. The support it offers is demonstrated in youth infrastructure, equipment, professional and personal assistance (personal counseling, family counseling), professional assistance (profession selection and participation in projects, mentoring) and more.
