Šport Ravne

Ravne na Carinthia has been a well-known sports center of Carinthia for decades. In the 1960s, the ironworks, with planned investments in the sports standard, provided the foundations for the construction of a modern sports park, which today boasts a well-rounded offer both for domestic athletes and for the wider sports public, and offers a wide range of activities throughout the year. For active leisure time, a city swimming pool with an Olympic swimming pool, an indoor winter pool, a modern athletics stadium, sports fields and halls, a tennis center and a Poseka ski resort with artificial snow and lighting are available in one place.

In the sports center next to the Ravne Gymnasium, there is a winter pool, dimensions 25 x 10 m, a gymnasium for volleyball and basketball, a table tennis hall, a four-lane bowling alley, a fitness center, saunas (Finnish, herbal, Turkish and infrared), a chess room, halls for aerobics, rhythmic, table tennis, judo and martial arts. The outdoor park includes a modernized stadium with six-lane artificial mass and a football field and a 350-seat stand, an asphalt basketball court, a soccer field on artificial grass, three sand tennis courts and a beach volleyball court. In addition to the Olympic swimming pool with a balloon, the city swimming pool also boasts a children's pool, a slide and a snowboard.

The Ravne na Koroškem sports park is embedded in the natural environment of the city and the Mežiška valley, between Peca and Uršlja gora, in an environment that offers exceptional opportunities for active leisure time and is a nice starting point for trips to nature. Hiking, mountaineering, cycling tours, etc. are at home here, where everyone can find something for themselves. The purpose and possibilities of the park can therefore be useful:
