Stari Tišler

Gostilna Stari Tišler is an old Ljubljana inn, known for authentic home-made dishes of Slovenian origin. Its roots go back to 1905, and the original name "old Tišler" has been preserved until today. The affordable location in the center of Ljubljana and the immediate proximity of the bus and train station attract in addition to regular guests and many tourists and travelers who want to taste a rich selection of dishes from Slovenian cuisine.

In addition to local Slovenian dishes, you can choose from a wide range of cold and hot appetizers, steaks, fish, pasta, pizzas, vegetarian dishes, salads and desserts.

Our specialty is the dishes "by the spoonful" - goulash, bograč, tripe, stews...

Every weekday we offer you in the morning Five types of snacks and two types of lunches. Every Sunday we serve you lunch from traditional Slovenian cuisine.

The rustically furnished interior in wood, stone and warm colors conjures up the atmosphere of an authentic local Slovenian inn. In separate booths, you can enjoy an intimate dinner, and with a capacity of up to 150 people, we can also host larger closed parties.

The wine offer is classic. You will be served with white and red open wine, or with a bottle of selected Slovenian wine.

On warmer days, you can cool off in the cool, shady garden in the atrium of the Stari Tišler inn, where we serve you food and drinks.
