Chocolate studio Dobnik is a family business and a chocolate shop with a long tradition of making chocolate products. We have our offices in Ljubljana, Maribor, Celje and Žalec. There is also a workshop in Žalec where we make all our products. The online store started operating in the fall of 2012 with the aim of offering top-quality chocolate products all over Slovenia. The first chocolate shop in Slovenia in 1994, the official start of the production of chocolate products, of the highest quality, in the Chocolate Studio Dobnik in Griže near Žalec. The year when Marinka Dobnik, otherwise a professor of languages, decided to listen to her inner voice, who said that she hides something more than just a talent for teaching. Two visits to Belgian chocolates were enough to decide that chocolate would be her life later. Chocolate studio Dobnik, the first chocolate shop of its kind in Slovenia, plowed the fallow in this area, raising awareness among traders and consumers. Right from the start, we set ourselves the guideline of high quality. We guarantee this with manual work, natural and high-quality ingredients and the use of real chocolate. There will never be preservatives in our pralines and chocolates, as they would inevitably kill their charm, eating them fresh. New recipes are constantly tested in our chocolate shop; We change and improve the old ones. The selection of products follows the seasons. Marinka Dobnik swears by dark chocolate with a high content of cocoa parts, which has a positive effect on human health. Currently, dark chocolate with herbs, liqueurs and brandy is in fashion. For complete pleasure with black chocolate, we recommend a glass of cognac or sweet wine. Handmade: All our products are handmade, we follow the old Belgian tradition of making chocolate products. This method of production allows us to use fresh and natural ingredients, which makes our products tastier. Traditional production and our innovation ensure top-quality chocolate delicacies. Each of our products is unique, art and chocolate hand in hand. The best ingredients: We always use ingredients that are natural, high quality and preferably fresh. Our chocolate contains a large proportion of cocoa particles, we buy it from the best producer of Belgian chocolate, Barry Callebaut. No preservatives: we do not use preservatives in the production of our products. Now you can enjoy the full natural taste and take care of your health. Real chocolate is medicinal, as it has a high content of cocoa particles, but only this contains antioxidants that are beneficial for your health. The glycemic index of real chocolate is low, so you don't have to fear for your health. Always fresh: Handmade production allows us to use fresh fruit and dairy products, let's adapt the ingredients to the season. All our products are freshly made and without preservatives, which gives them a short life. Protected specialties of the chocolate studio Dobnik Chocolate studio Dobnik produces Prešernova figs, dried figs in cream covered with dark or milk chocolate; In memory of the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren, who often carried dried figs in the pockets of his coat and gave them to children.
