Domača gostilna Mihovc

Gostilna Mihovc is located in the pistachio village of Stara Fužina, which is less than 500m from Lake Bohinj. The inn has a long tradition since 1888. In a new, renovated image and preserved old soul, it has been operating according to the old Slovenian tradition again since 2011. Our kitchen specializes in typical Slovenian dishes. We offer a wide range of international cuisine. The service works in traditional national costumes and stands by the most different wishes of our guests.

The inn offers over 60 seats in the restaurant area and 120 seats on a covered sunny terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. In the immediate vicinity is the village planšar museum, which shows the work on the mountains and the production of milk products throughout history.

We offer homemade and other food to order, rich daily menus and snacks. We also accept pre-orders for groups and various celebrations. We can also make feasts in a truly traditional way by visiting the Planšar Museum, the old water sawmill and the mill, where we can offer homemade aperitifs and appetizers.

Where are we?
You can find us in the center of the village of Stara Fužina, near Lake Bohinj. The inn is located on the main road that leads from Ribčev Laz to Srednja vas in the Upper Bohinj Valley.
