About Us

Gostilna PP is located in the very center of Ptuj. Since its opening 18 years ago (December 7, 1998), it has held the mission of the Perutnina Ptuj promotional center. It represents the so-called "representational bar", in which they present new products and provide banquets for business partners. When preparing dishes, they emphasize poultry meat dishes, and certainly traditional culinary delicacies accompanied by renowned local wines from the Ptuj cellar.

It is known that a poultry snack bar has been operating at this location for several decades, where the people of Ptuj always liked to go out for lunch, and it was especially famous for fried and roasted chicken and chicken stew and roasted liver. According to this tradition, they want to be recognized in the future as well, and they also know how to take care of the promised vegetarians. On the other hand, Gostilna PP is called Gostilna Slovenije, and in it it is also possible to get indigenous dishes of the local environment from raw materials produced according to all the criteria of traditional production.

The PP inn also prepares the culinary part of mobile catering or other events. They are recognizable at various receptions at castles, in monasteries, town halls, openings of large sports or business facilities, as well as at private parties, such as various family holidays, weddings or picnics.

Depending on the time of year, tourist season or events in the city, they often adjust their working hours. They have 84 seats in the dining area, they also have two representative spaces for special events and a cafe together with an annual terrace.

When you walk through the city market or on the way to the Ptuj cellar, which is just a few steps ahead, when you realize that something smells intoxicating, you now know: these are delicious Ptuj fried chicken and Ptuj-style roasted chicken, as they know it to prepare only in the pub! A visit to Ptuj cannot pass without a taste of them!
