In 2011, the excellent Tomi inn met the demanding criteria of national evaluation and became part of an eminent group that operates under the Gostilna Slovenija brand.

This represents quality, authentic Slovenian cuisine and ensures a top standard. Dishes of local and regional origin are based on many seafood and meat specialties. They are especially known for fish from the oven, capesantes, shrimp on arugula, Refoško fuji with truffles with crab, stuffed gnocchi in shrimp sauce, octopus, and old and already forgotten dishes, such as polenta with cod (cod) on warm. These are just a few dishes that were created with the desire to combine local and traditional cuisine, prepared in a modern way and with a touch of the Adriatic Sea.

When preparing food, they use only the best ingredients, such as locally grown vegetables, 4 types of olive oil (Maurino, Istrian belica, leccino, Dalmatian), salt flower from the Sečovel salt pans and excellent Slovenian wines from the surrounding area. The kitchen adapts to the seasons and fresh foods of the Adriatic Sea and the Istrian hinterland.
