The Resje guest house and boarding house is located on the edge of the Triglav National Park in the village of Nemški Rovt. It is a pleasant old village surrounded by forests, pastures and meadows. There are 14 rooms available in the Resje guesthouse, and a total of up to 40 guests can stay overnight. The rooms are equipped with LCD TV with satellite programs. Each room also has a bathroom with a shower, and most rooms also have a direct exit to the balcony, where you can sit in the fresh mountain air. You will be able to enjoy the view of the Bohinj mountains, meadows and forests. Half board (dinner or lunch) is available by appointment in our house. You can try traditional Slovenian and international dishes in the company of Slovenian wines. For those of you who like to train intensively even on vacation, our professionally equipped fitness studio is available free of charge. Outside, you can find free parking, two terraces and a small children's playground in the large garden, where your children can safely play. Our house is surrounded by meadows, where you can see domestic animals and forests, where you can pick strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, mushrooms or local herbs. The village of Nemški Rovt Gostišče is located in a small village with about 100 inhabitants, at an altitude of 668 meters, far away from the hustle and bustle of modern tourism. Here you can feel the pulse of village life and the smell of fresh mountain air. There is an organic farm in the village, where you can be served excellent cottage cheese and a Bohinj specialty - cheese mohant. The central part of the village is formed by the church of St. Ahaca, which was consecrated precisely in 1492, when Christopher Columbus discovered America. Take a walk through our village and at the end you will find an extraordinary view towards the Bohinj basin, surrounded by a garland of Bohinj mountains. Unforgettable. Join us. Beekeeper Jan Strgar was born in the village in Ahčič's house, who otherwise lived and worked in Bitnje (possible viewing of the exterior, where a commemorative plaque is attached). The tradition of beekeeping is now being continued at the homesteads near Nack and at Kramar. Don't miss the old "Kobal farmhouse", where baroque frescoes dated 1777 are preserved on the facade. Around the windows is a frame made of natural stone, which is also used on an arched entrance with the year 1887 in the middle. You can even row rowing on Nemške Rovt under the right conditions, and even skate in winter. The occasional torrential lake forms during heavy rains not far from the village along the road leading to Jelovica. So much water accumulates in the basin to form a small lake (600 m long, 200 m wide and up to 10 m deep), which then dries up completely, as it has no inflows. The road leads past Nemške rovt to the Soriška planina ski resort, or further over the pass to the Bače valley to Podbrdo. Due to its exceptional nature and beautiful bends, this route is also interesting for cycling and motorcycle tours.
