The guest house on the square, the House of Culinary and Tourism is located in the old town center, Metropolis of Dolenjska, Novem mesto. The renovated facility was replaced by a traditionally known guest house, which the locals called "the square". The guest house thus represents a pearl of modern architecture, but it looks for its roots in heritage, as it is located in the oldest building of the New Town. In addition to the original dimensions, the restorers also preserved an authentic wooden ceiling, which visitors can admire in part of the so-called restaurant. the mayor's room. The guest house is managed in a renovated image by Grm Novo mesto - Center for Biotechnology and Tourism and represents a unique environment for the practical education of students of the Higher Professional School, students of the High School for Hospitality and Tourism, as well as students of the Grm Agricultural School and Biotechnical Gymnasium. Therefore, it is not surprising that the guests are overwhelmed by feelings of elegance, nostalgia and effort and the diligence of young people, in relation to quality service and respect for the catering profession.

Guesthouse on the square consists of:

pastry shop, in which we will serve you traditionally good cream slices, cakes of all kinds, among which the dark forest stands out, the recipe of which is our protected and carefully guarded secret. You can sweeten the festive events at home with different types of cookies, soft pastries and, above all, whole cakes, which we prepare for you to order.

Restaurant, where we serve you three daily lunch menus and lunch in the morning. Afternoons are reserved for delicacies made to order from the menu. Upon prior order, we can also provide a quality culinary feast for closed groups. We also enrich our offer with a feast outside the restaurant. After ordering, we prepare all types of catering (cold or hot buffet, feast with pastries, canapés...), both in Slovenia and abroad (frequencies at Slovenian embassies in EU countries).

conference hall, in which we can host up to 80 participants of a seminar or similar event. We also offer comprehensive service, both in terms of a coffee break, a buffet or a complete lunch or dinner. The hall is equipped with all modern audio and video equipment.

atrium, is an open space inside the courtyard, where we host various social events, from musical performances to painting exhibitions. At the time when the weather is right, you can refresh yourself on it with one of the desserts from the pastry shop or excellent Troy coffee. In the summer, it is like a homemade Cvička ice cream.

boutique market With delicacies from the surrounding farms, it is also located within the guest house. In it, you can buy authentic goodies from farms from the vicinity of Novi Mesto and the school estate. Quality wines, delicious cheeses, meats, fresh seasonal vegetables and much more are available to you.

milk machine, with daily fresh milk from the school estate, is located at the back entrance.
