There is certainly no Carinthian who has not heard of the Mexican restaurant Saloon, which is located on the way from Kotelj to Slovenj Gradac, namely in Sela - Vrhe. The restaurant, which, in addition to an excellent culinary offer, really huge portions and friendly staff, also serves you a real atmosphere in the style of the wild west with a touch of Mexican temperament. We have known the restaurant in this image for about 5 years. The very idea of the origin came to the owner of the bar, Nicolas Konečnik, when he was traveling around Europe.

Many guests from all over Slovenia and even neighboring Austria prove that a good reputation goes far. The aromaticity and saturation of Mexican dishes leave no one indifferent, and there is sure to be a specialty for even the most demanding guest in the Saloon. These have a taste of many steaks (Argentine, Rumpsteak, buffalo steak, T-bon steak), the famous Mexican stew chilli con carne, fajitas, ensalatas, Enchilliadas, many types of pizzas and more and more... Recently, there is an even more varied selection of desserts, among which even the most famous Mexican vanilla sedge is available.

The weekends are particularly interesting and varied in the Saloon, as we also serve our guests with real musical country evenings with live music. The professional bartenders who prepare cocktays of your choice, of all kinds and tastes, and are served to you by nice "jeans" hostesses are often provided to spice it up.

The fact that in our "western" ambience, she recorded a music video for her hit "Z nogo ob tla", the well-known Slovenian band Čuki, also proves that there is really a lot of varied and interesting going on in the Saloon. Recently, in collaboration with the rapper Nushy, we shot a video for her new piece "Wanna Be My Cowboy".
