We are aware that with this we have not only offered Ljubljana one more place to socialize, but much more. The construction of the pub has been going on since May 2014. During this time, the old malt house, one of the oldest and listed industrial buildings in Ljubljana, got a new look, but kept its soul in the process. The pub thus surprises with a modern interior imbued with the architecture of industrial times, and is thus an important acquisition for Ljubljana as well, especially since it is also directly connected to the brewery museum. This has been open in the building of the Old Sladarna since 1986, so the choice of space for a pub on the ground floor of this building was also a logical choice. Pivovarna Union's pub is the result of the work of a wider project group, which was led by Andrej Varšek, as the construction manager of the pub project. In the creation of the overall graphic image, Pivovarna Union also collaborated with Gigo design, and the architect on the project was Eva Hrovatin from Das Biro Studio.
