Pizzeria Foculus has been impressing since 1996. And not only with a special atmosphere, salads are also extraordinary, and pizzas should not be wasted - they are excellent - even the best, that's what they say around the city, its near and far surrounding. Located in old Ljubljana, a stone's throw from the embankment of the Ljubljanica, next to two great attractions, the famous architect Jože Plečnik left his mark - next to the National and University Library (NUK) and at Križanke. Pizzas are baked in a large bread oven, and beech wood gives the pizzas that real, primal taste. You can choose from 66 types of pizzas for every taste, and you can also order all of them with whole grain or gluten-free dough, a vegan pizza is also available and sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, caviar and salmon, Truffles, pine nuts, several types of cheese, salami, prosciutto and ham, even quail eggs are found in combinations of quality ingredients on pizzas and rich salads, of which there are 14 types. On the occasion of the 2000th anniversary of the founding of the ancient Roman Emona, this year they will also prepare Emona pizza from the ingredients known at the time. A specialty is also the house dessert baked in the bread oven Foculus. A wide selection of beers and an interesting collection of wines, in addition to irreplaceable non-alcoholic drinks, provide additional food pleasure.
