Sisters Kurtoš

The Sisters Kurtoš bakery can be found in the center of Ljubljana, right next to the Ljubljanica river. As the name itself dictates, it is led by sisters Špela and Maša.

The bakery offers kurtoš, a pastry made from leavened dough. Its original name is Kürtőskalács, and it first appeared in Transylvania.

Pastries, which are very well-known around the world, were brought to the very center of Slovenia and made it possible to enjoy the flavors of this wonderful, crispy and fluffy pastry in Ljubljana as well.

In their offer, they made sure that everyone can find something to their taste. They have upgraded the classic sweet design of the curto and thus also offer cold, filled with ice cream, and savory, where you can choose from different types of vegetables and main accessories.

The pastry is prepared according to the traditional recipes required to prepare such a pastry. Of course, sisters Špela and Maša add a great deal of love to that, so their kurtos are even sweeter.

Tip: They also have monthly "special" kurtos.
