Taverna Petra

Gostilna Taverna Petra is located in Poljanska dolina, less than a kilometer from the village of Gorenje, right next to the main road Škofja Loka - Žiri (Cerkno). We are a guest house that tries to offer the guest only the best. In a pleasant atmosphere, in the company of friendly staff, we prepare daily fresh snacks, seasonal desserts, Sunday lunches, pizzas and other dishes from our wide range. We are an attractive spot for mountaineers who like to go to the nearby peaks of the Škofjeloški foothills and enjoy unspoiled nature. In winter, skiers from the Cerkno and Stari vrh ski resorts, which are located in the immediate vicinity, like to visit us. During the summer period, due to the favorable location, our daily guests are motorcyclists, cyclists and many other recreationists. We are sure that in a peaceful environment and a pleasant atmosphere, all lovers of good food and a drop will come to the account. Parking is well taken care of with us. Next to the guest house, right above the main road, we have a large parking lot that accommodates up to seventy cars. Guests are served in the central bar, which welcomes up to fifty guests, in a restaurant where there is room for sixty guests, and in the summer garden, which accommodates up to seventy guests. The inn is perfectly intended for small closed groups, business meetings, anniversaries, celebrations, confirmations, baptisms, etc. We have also taken care of our youngest guests, who can be employed in our play corners in the restaurant and in the summer garden during their visit.
