Lekarna Vrščaj

Pharmacy Vrščaj is a private pharmacy under the concession of the municipality of Črnomelj, it performs a public pharmacy service in the area of the municipality. The Vinica pharmacy also operates within the Vrščaj pharmacy, which operates in the building of the Vinica Health Station and takes care of residents and tourists in the settlements along the Kolpa River.

The pharmacy service is defined as part of the medical activity that ensures the supply of medicines to the population, which includes the dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medicines and the mastery preparation of medicines. In addition to medicines, Lekarna Vrščaj also dispenses medical devices and sells health care and health care products and high-quality care cosmetics.

One of the key tasks of our pharmacy is professional advice on the dispensing of medicines and in the selection of means and aids for health protection. In the pharmacy, we also introduce cognitive services and pharmaceutical care programs, such as blood sugar measurement, cholesterol and blood pressure, a comprehensive personal consultation with a pharmacist about homeopathic treatment, a review of the use of medicines and the production of a personal drug card, and a personal consultation with a pharmacist about hypertension and diabetes.

The Vrščaj pharmacy is verified by the Ministry of Health and operates in accordance with the Rules on the performance of pharmacy activities and the principles of good pharmacy practice.

Pharmacy Vrščaj is a member of the Pharmacist Chamber of Slovenia and the Professional Association of Pharmacists of Slovenia.
