Tradition
Since the time of Maria Theresa, oil gourds have been grown in the geographical circle of Slovenian-Austrian Styria, Prekmurje, Border Hungary and Međimurje.

Pomurje is in the center of this production, where oil was once produced mainly in mills and oil mills along rivers and streams. The nearest well-known oil mill was by the river Ščavnica in Ribičev mlin in Cezanjevci.

Today, the Klas oil mill is also joining the preservation of the traditional way of extracting oil from those times.

Quality and traceability
From the professional production of oil gourds through traditional processing, from the collection of the seed to the oil with HACCP We control the quality of our products.

In addition, ISO 9001 will confirm the quality in the future.

Tasting the oil and visiting the oil mill
The tasting contains: pumpkin oil and seared pumpkins.

The price of sightseeing, guidance and tasting is €3.00/person (for guides, drivers and children up to 12 years old is free). The group includes 15 or more people.

Working hours of the tour (Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., closed on Sundays and holidays). An additional €0.50/person is paid for an agreed visit outside of working hours.
