TIC Bovec

TIC Bovec is the central information center of the upper Soška valley and the Koritnica valley. Its main activities are: informing tourists, forwarding offers, selling permits for navigation on the Soča River, issuing tourist maps and publications, and organizing events. Bovec - the center of the Zgornje-Soška valley, which is located right next to the Triglav National Park. The following villages are scattered around Bovško: Srpenica, Žaga, Log Čezsoški, Čezsoča, Plužna, Log pod Mangrtom, Kal-Koritnica, Lepena, Soča and Trenta. In the past, the old traffic route that connected Trieste with Vienna was important for Bovec, but later the places in Bovec were marked by the battles of the First World War. Today, we can follow the remains of this time along the paths of peace. Bovec is a city with a long tourist tradition and a rich range of sports activities. In winter, the ski season at the Kanin - Canin ski resort lasts until the May Day holidays. In the valley, there are cross-country skiing tracks, and the sports agencies in Bov organize both day and night sledding. In the summer months, a wide range of sports activities are offered by water sports on the Soča River, but there are also cycling, hiking, mountaineering, horse riding, golf, paragliding, paragliding and aviation. For the latter, a smaller sports airport right next to Bovec is interesting.
