TIC Jezersko

Jezersko, a green valley, fenced in the east with a wreath of the Savinja Alps, which rose in a lively earth movement towards the sky sixty million years ago; which is bounded from north to west by a more than three hundred million-year-old coral reef; Where in the north is the national border with Austria, which in the new Europe delimits Slovenian life here and beyond the hills less and less; Where in the south the path descends to the longest Slovenian village - Kokra and Koder, the oldest limestone in our country and further to the green European pearl - a small Slovenia, which offers such diverse beauties of its surface, the underground and on its few square kilometers. dizzying stone heights. The valley, last formed by the mighty glacier, which disappeared ten thousand years ago, was flooded with a large glacial lake at the end of the ice age, after which the place was named "Pr' Jezera", due to the impermeability of its bottom. Later, a more modern form of the name "Jezersko" developed.
