TIC Šmarje pri Jelšah

When Emperor Franz Joseph was traveling through his empire, he stopped at Halar's hill and, looking at the Šmarsko valley, said: "Look at this beauty of paradise! There are few of them in my empire."

You can find out about all the touristic, cultural, catering, excursion, overnight and other "paradise" offers of Šmarje and its surroundings in the Šmarje Tourist Information Center, which has been operating at the new location since August 10, 2015, namely in the premises of the Baroque Museum Šmarje pri Jelšah, Cesta na Sv. Deadline 1. It is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in the morning, 9 am-12 p.m., and in the afternoon, 3-6 p.m. The museum also has such working hours.
