Anyone can become a PD member, which accepts the rules and program of the association and voluntarily submits the accession declaration.

In the Cerkno Mountaineering Association, you pay the membership fee to Katarina Filipič, tel. 031 615 245 in the office of the Cerkno Mountain Association. If necessary, Marko Derlink also participates in the entry of data into the information system as the social administrator of the "Linking" information system.

Mountain lodge on Porežno 1585m

The mountain lodge on Porežno is only 10 minutes below the peak (1630m). The lower part of the building is a renovated Italian barracks, and the upper part was completed between 1980-1984. The home has a kitchen, two dining rooms with 70 seats, two indoor and two outdoor toilets, two shower cabins with hot/cold water, and in the upper part there are 8 rooms (from 2 to 6 beds) - a total of 34 and shared beds (26). At least 60 mountaineers can spend the night in the mountain lodge. There is also a mobile phone in the home (051 615 245). Since 1996, the home has been powered by electricity from the solar system, so that the aggregate has only become a backup power source. The home is usually open permanently from the last week in June to around mid-September, but outside the summer season it can be open in case of good weather even on weekends, but it is a good idea to make sure of this beforehand (telem. The hut stands on the eastern side a little below the top of Črne vrh (1291 m). In 1957, PD Cerkno took over the management of the former Italian military building and converted it into a mountain outpost; The hut was opened on June 2, 1957. In 1960, electricity was installed, and in 1962 the outpost was renovated and newly equipped. When the ski center also developed on Črni vrh, PD Cerkno kept the right third of the building behind the mountain outpost, renovated it and modernized it. In the middle is a restaurant owned by Hotel Cerkno, the left third is a hunting lodge. PD Cerkno takes care of the restaurant during the summer season. The cottage is open from the beginning of June to the end of September on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and every day in the winter season. There are 200 seats and a bar in the restaurant. In the cottage, there are 30 seats in the catering area, and the same number at the tables in front of the cottage; There are 4 beds in two rooms; WC, washroom and shower with hot and cold water; catering and sleeping areas are heated with stoves; running water, electricity.
